Ashtanga Love at CPY
Yes, our Yoga Class is based on our love of Ashtanga Yoga. All its forms, from the ancient practice (Patanjali's Ashtanga Yoga) to the newer physical practice sequences, all elements of Ashtanga move us.
Our approach to Ashtanga Yoga is distinct. We focus on breathing and step-by-step placement. We aren't mimicking other teachers and books- we teach from the heart and deeply understand and respect the ancient practice. Our grounded approach ensures that we provide you with the best yoga experience possible, which will impact your practice and life.
I began practicing yoga at CPY when I was in my mid twenties, and now at 50, I have found that the yoga I learned at CPY has supported me through every stage of my life. It's incredible how CPY has been a constant presence for me all these years!

The No-Level Yoga Class Means No Yoga Experience Needed.
Experience the inclusive atmosphere of our No-Level Yoga Class, where everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace. Our sessions are designed to be flexible and accommodating to all levels of experience and fitness, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and empowered during their practice.
Beginners to CPY
If you are a beginner, injured, have an illness or disease, or are in pain, don't worry. We have a Yoga Therapy session tailored just for you. We suggest taking a few Yoga Therapy sessions before you join us in our group classes. We are committed to making yoga accessible and beneficial for everyone.
Your teachers here have significant experience helping students learn and use yoga for physical and mental health.
