FOR NEW STUDENTS: 
Hi! Our process for accepting new students has changed. Please CLICK HERE to learn how to be a part of genuinely good yoga practice. 

If you are recently injured, recovering from an injury, have an illness, undiagnosed back pain, joint pain, arthritis, are undergoing cancer treatments, have heart disease, diabetes, or are receiving medical treatment for mental health, please schedule a yoga therapy session before joining us in group classes.

Enthusiastic and Encouraging No-Level Yoga Classes

We are the teachers of continued yoga practice. CPY is where you want to be if you want to learn yoga as therapy for your body and mind. 

At our studio, people can show up once a week and get everything they need—our yoga is highly effective, and the time you spend here will not be wasted. Our private sessions and classes are designed to help you improve flexibility, reduce stress, and enhance mental clarity, among many other benefits.‍

College Park Yoga Yoga is where students learn yoga and develop a sound practice that is beneficial and supportive for good living. Our No-Level group classes are a great reminder that everyone is here to enjoy yoga no matter where they are on the yoga path - just starting or have been doing it for 100 years. The most common phrase we hear on the way out the door after a private session or class is:

"Today's yoga experience was exactly what I needed!"

Plus, we offer a judgment and competitive-free zone, so beginners and yoga teachers also have a studio where they can practice without the pressure to prove themselves in front of others. 

We believe in the traditional practice of yoga, as it was shared by the ancients, and we are here to guide their messages and give you space to be you, the perfect version of you! (in yoga, perfect equals - sane, present, and satisfied). Doesn't a satisfied, sane, present version of you sound lovely?  Our classes let you FEEL that experience deep in your bones! It's amazing what happens when one practices yoga that is breath-by-breath, unhurried, aligned, and steady. It's absolutely remarkable.

Welcome to a No-Level Yoga Experience

NO LEVELS means zero competition, zero worries about other students watching you go through the practice of yoga and the teachers who are supportive of you and where you are in the process of learning.  At CPY everyone is encouraged to learn at their own pace.

College Park Yoga  is a place where laughter is the soundtrack, and we all share in the good energy that occurs here. Every breath of the class is purposeful. And our purpose is to be here for you and do that 100% (CPY students may say it is more like 130%), but whose counting? Your teachers are counting your breath, even if you aren't! 

We care deeply about our student's well-being and have devoted our lives (since 2001) to teaching, living, and learning all we can about the human body and mind and yoga's effects on them. We provide individual attention and guidance to each student, ensuring that you get the most out of your practice.

CPY is a space where you can experience an enduring sense of peace and well-being, and we are committed to doing everything we can to help you achieve that.

We have over 23 years of direct teaching experience and 28 Best of awards (not vanity ones either, these awards are based on public opinion polls)

Calvin & Theresa (that's us, hi!) have been teaching at College Park Yoga since 2001!  We are dedicated to helping all humans (and hopefully you, soon!) learn this practice on a foundational level that will change and inspire your life for years to come.

Our encouraging style makes students feel safe, invigorated, calm, and challenged in a way that inspires mental and physical change on profound levels of well-being. We will ensure you develop good practice to increase your body and mind's strength, flexibility, meditation (focus), and peace.
