ne of the downfalls of teaching yoga is that you have yet to learn precisely how you impacted and changed a student's life unless they tell you. We are grateful for the systems that have engaged us in getting this information from our students.
We know this: if you follow the advice of the ancient masters and practice yoga, you will hugely change. And it will be a change in all the ways you hoped for and the ways you didn't expect.
We offer lessons on ancient practices,
and our classes reflect that. We all gather here, united by our love for yoga and the shared joy of experiencing those magical moments of tiny miracles.
Here are a few reviews about College Park Yoga.
Reviews about the classes, teachers, and ambiance.
"I have loved attending classes with Theresa at College Park Yoga. I am so glad I found this lovely and authentic studio."

"I felt welcomed, cared about, and reconnected to my body and breath through well guided yoga. I’m blown away by the experience of a personal yoga therapy class. The group class has the perfect temp and airflow. The rooms are creative and beautiful. A lot of love, attention and experience has been put into this place and it’s a joy to be in the space."

"Feeling grateful to have a yoga class like this in the community. Very different from much gym inspired yoga around town. I enjoy this class because it focuses on alignment, and is a long, strong and calm class. It is more traditional and focuses on fundamentals, but builds enough heat that leaves me floaty and my hips happy. College Park Yoga definitely helps me round out my workout routine, giving strength and love for my muscles and body. It definitely heals! Calvin and Theresa are top notch yogis at the top of their game and not afraid to give adjustments, which is like a smile for the soul."

"Welcome to a yoga class that’s all about meeting you where you are. At this studio, you’ll find a diverse community—people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities—coming together to practice in a space where healing is prioritized over competition. Here, the focus is on your breath, not perfecting every pose. The beauty of this practice lies in its simplicity. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting out, the instructors guide you to move in a way that honors your body’s needs in the moment. You’re encouraged to tune in, breathe deeply, and let go of any need to “get it right.” In this class, the goal is to help you reset your mind and body. Every breath is a chance to release tension and feel more present. It’s less about how the pose looks and more about how it feels. The studio’s philosophy is clear: Yoga is for everyone, and this is a place where you can reconnect with yourself, free from judgment or pressure. If you’re looking for a space that truly has its priorities straight—where the atmosphere is welcoming, inclusive, and focused on your well-being—this is the perfect class for you. Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed, rebalanced."

"There is no place like CPY! T&C are just rays of sunshine in human form. Their knowledge of yoga, the breath, alignment for YOUR individual body, and all things in between is just one of a kind (and I have tried many studios). If you are wondering or curious, step outside your comfort zone and give it a try! "

"It is challenging to put into words just how thoughtful classes are at College Park Yoga. Both Theresa and Calvin are beyond experienced and lovely to learn from. Anyone, at any level, can step into the room without a worry and can expect to leave feeling accomplished and ready to take on life with a better mind set. I would never consider practicing any where else in Central Florida. The best!"

About Calvin and Theresa 's teaching styles
"Calvin and Theresa form a formidable yoga team on the edge of College Park. Their foundation is in the ancient Ashtanga tradition, but they have a knack for pulling the more accessible poses for the neighborhood yoga consumer."

"I've been going here for a few years and I'll keep coming back. It's a yoga studio where you can feel comfortable to be yourself. There are no expectations on how deep you move into the poses. The only expectation is that you breathe deeply and with intention for the time you are in class. Need to rest, then rest. Ready to go deep, then let's go. It's my yoga studio of choice. Theresa and Calvin are always smiling and you can't help but match their good moods, it is infectious! "

Welcoming, easy-going, and focused are qualities that are not often found together. At CPY, they are one.
"This is by far the BEST yoga studio I've attended. Theresa and Calvin are so welcoming and amazing. The class is challenging and relaxing and uplifting all at the same time. I can't wait to go back!"

"A great studio space with some awesome teachers. A calm, inviting environment made all the easier through the helping hands of Theresa & Calvin. Their easy going approach to any posture makes this place so peaceful and stress free you just want to take a nap during class. But don't, 'cuz the health benefits and you gets and the stress this place takes away is worth it all. As long as they are here I will continue to go to class. "

Quality over quantity. College Park Yoga not a turn-and-burn studio. Class sizes are intentionally limited in size to ensure the best yoga experience.
"This place is nothing less than amazing!! Calvin and Theresa are interactive and work with the class to help their poses and breathing - which has helped me both in class and in real-life. Their enthusiasm and energy is truly contagious and really make this class top notch. Plus, the ambiance, meditation, class-size, and environment is very relaxing and conducive to practice yoga in. <3"

No matter how much time passes since we last saw you:
"Simply the best place there is…CPY is more than just a yoga studio! CPY embodies love and support and creates a space for deep breath and mindful posture. I’ve been practicing on and off since 2011 and they embrace me and welcome me “home” every time."
