elcome to our world at CPY!

NEW TO CPY?

At our center, we understand that each individual's journey with yoga is unique. That's why we offer a variety of ways for you to move on the mat, tailored to your specific needs. Whether you're new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, we recommend starting with a private session to fully experience our movement-based therapy. Our focus on your well-being is at the heart of everything we do.

Our group classes at CPY are exceptional, and to fully reap the benefits, we recommend complementing them with a private lesson from our expert instructors, Calvin or Theresa. This ensures you harness the full physiological benefits (blood pressure, lymphatic, and cardiovascular systems) and gain insight into our unique meditation sessions.

If you have an injury or health limitation, start here.

If you are dealing with a recent injury, recovering from an illness, or have specific health conditions, we want to ensure your safety and well-being. Before joining our group classes, we recommend scheduling a yoga therapy session.

yoga and alcohol don't mix well. But breath and movements do.;)

CPY is unique and doesn't bend to trends.

Remember that our approach to vinyasa yoga is different from what we hear in the yoga world. Classes are 90 minutes long, not the shortened 30-60 minute churn-and-burn style popular today.  We also don't overheat the room, don't have a hundred teachers on staff, and don't adhere to the current yoga studio business model. While many are out for fame and popularity,  we are here to teach practice.

Who you choose to teach you yoga shouldn't be a popularity contest.

Don't drink and yoga!

We don't give out alcohol or marijuana when class starts because we get to an altered mind state through the practice and create a longer-lasting state of meditation, peace, and joy that is better and more effective than the recreational methods people are using.

So, if that interests you, our studio will perfectly fit your yoga expectations.  Our studio is everything you think yoga should be.

See you soon!

Indra, the Yoga Dog, is asleep in her favorite spot, right in front of the fireplace at College Park Yoga. She loved to hang out after hours and enjoy all the good vibes and scents that students left there.
You have to be in the warm and inviting space of College Park Yoga to feel it. Our students know the feeling of CPY; now you need to experience it, too. According to our students, it's like no other place on earth.
The BURN Kitchen Vegan Cuisine book signing was such a blast. You can get your copy at CPY or online at any of the major booksellers. It's a coffee table book with lots of pictures, and we like pictures.
CPY loves to honor the tradition and history of Yoga. Come see our artwork, which includes some of the most revered goddesses of India.
