Everyone is welcome to CPY.
At CPY, our practice is not a display of physical advancement, because the real yoga practice has nothing to do with physical flexibility. Our focus is to generate strength, mobility, and calmness.
This is not to say that our classes are easy or hard. However, students say our classes are pleasantly challenging. We will train you on the correct practice of alignment and deep breathing. The practice taught at CPY is a safe and highly effective method of creating peace and health. Beginners are welcome to every single class on the schedule.
Theresa and Calvin have taught thousands of brand new to yoga students this breath-by-breath practice that will change your life. When you take our beginner friendly yoga classes, keep in mind, most of the students that are practicing next to you started their yoga training in the very same beginner class you are taking today! They are calm, confident and pleasant because they continued taking the same class (the same one you will start with) and developed their yoga abilities one class at a time!
If you have severe physical limitations, or incurred a sports injury, or have issues with certain movements, please contact us for a Personal Training Session, so we can get you on the right path for a good yoga practice.
