HOW YOUNG IS TOO YOUNG?
Look, if you have a little 5-10 year old, bring ‘em to community class if you really really think yoga is good for them. It’s only 5 bucks.. and kids can’t handle more than hour in one place anyway. We do not do kids yoga classes.. that just turns into babysitting and we are not good babysitters. If you got an 11- teenager... bring ‘em to any class.
HOW OLD IS TOO OLD?
Honey, you are asking the wrong people that question considering we don’t think anyone is old... only in our heads we are old. Sure your practice will change as your body changes and are faced with new bodily situations we didn’t experience back in the good ol’ days. If you are really concerned about it talk to us, schedule a 1 on 1. We will show you modifications.. use them and you will be fine.
I AM PREGNANT.
We understand that your body is in high speed change and you need to make room for your little buddy. Hey look if you google astanga and pregnancy you are gonna a read a bunch of -insert 2 words here initials bs- about it. Look they way we teach this practice is with accessibility. We have trained hundreds of pregnant women from conception to birth. If you need to ask some questions ask us. We are here to help you... but you gotta want it.

Look we have worked with all kinds of injuries, from back surgery, knee surgery, torn this and that, fractures, sprains, pains, and everything else we are all plagued with. Don’t let yourself think oh, I will wait till I am healed to practice... you can maintain practice and do a service to the rest of your body parts that are thriving. All your teachers as CPY didn’t walk into this practice flexible and pain free, we came to this with many injuries and loads of tension and we all know how to modify the poses to get you into the right place for you that day.
